Challenges  

  1. Problem solving for users and clients  

    • Understanding how the users would use the feature was challenging before getting feedback for preliminary screen designs 

    • Creating multiple variations of screens to present the most viable version or diverse options to the product team. 

  2. Communication and presentation  

    • Maintaining consistency/hierarchy and detail with other screens when creating new screens 

    • Visualizing feature design ideas requested by the team and creating the preliminary screens that accurately reflect the requests before feedback was challenging 

  3. Team work   

    • Alignment from different time zones 

 

Learnings  

  1. Problem solving for users and clients  

    • Deriving insights and most significant pain points of the user mentioned in the interview, and recommending actionable solutions for them 

    • Understanding the what type of information the users will look for in the features of Fast FRWD and how they would use it. 

  2. Communication and presentation  

    • Creating multiple variations of screens to present the most viable version or options to the product team 

    • Design the flow of screens so that people of other roles other can comprehend the process and design accurately. 

    • Use Figma tools more effectively to create Hi-Fi designs 

  3. Team work   

    • Daily check-in and alignment with the team members on the design team 

    • Visualize feature design ideas requested by the team with more detail to suggest screens that match the client’s needs or ideas.
