Still: A Typography Installation Art

This typography installation is composed of clay balls wrapped with Korean traditional paper. The colorful paper painted with water color symbolizes vibrance, nature, and the inherent variety of our world, while the shadows cast by them symbolize the darker side of our world like pollution and irreversible harm to our planet. The word “still” is a double entendre, highlighting the persistence of the problem and the sometimes imperceptible environmental changes right in front of us. If we stay “still” our problems will “still” be there, like a shadow behind.
