Dressing Identity

Created with white clay and vinyl, which are unconventional materials for clothing, the surrealistic dress shows facial features dripping off and attached to the dress. The dress sends a message that what you wear is closely related to your identity both by reflecting how you want to portray yourself but also the environmental factors that influence you. This dress therefore addresses the importance of environmental factors in shaping your identity, and is made of unconventional materials due to the uniqueness on everyone’s identities.
